Shopping:

Circa Vintage by Eclectic CO:

One of my favorite shops, vintage and pre-loved items throughout the entire store. These were just a few amazing outfits I found while sorting through the racks. So many choices you will definitely walk out with something.

All About Colorado:

So many Colorado items, from Sasquatch stickers, to books and t-shirts. They have so many books about Colorado, from history to hiking and anything in between. They have a cooler with a few drink selections, and some snack options too.

Centennial Cuts Mercantile:

Enjoy premium locally raised beef from a family owned ranch in Fowler, Colorado. Walking into the store you’ll see beef jerky options, sauces in the glass cases and frozen meats toward the back. You can even get a gift box shipped to family or friends.

Little Heartshake:

I loved this store, they have a wall full of unique greeting cards that have beautiful artwork on the front.

Beautiful children’s clothing and toys that are not your typical plastic cheap item. One toy was a wooden treehouse that you can buy in pieces and build it they way you like. Children can even play with the model toy while you shop.

Bancroft Park:

A great spot for picnic, some history, and great views. A small play area for the kids to climb and get energy out and lots of grass for running.

If you want to learn about the history of the town there are markers toward Colorado Ave.

Mother Muff’s Restaurant:

Set in a building built in 1901 during the “Wild West” era. It once housed an opera house on the second floor and First National bank on the first floor.

Today its a restaurant and bar, with some pretty good food. It was fairly busy for a Monday at lunchtime, so it took sometime for our food to come out. It was worth the wait for the BLT and fries that I ordered.

As the sun sets over the Rocky Mountains, Old Colorado City’s charm lingers, leaving you with a sense of nostalgia and adventure. Whether you spent the day uncovering hidden gems in its unique shops, enjoying a delicious meal, or simply soaking in the historic atmosphere, this vibrant district offers something for everyone. With its perfect mix of past and present, a day in Old Colorado City is more than just a visit—it’s an experience you’ll want to relive again and again.
